back to reality

fun days are always so short… back from 14 days honeymoon.. if possible, I wish I can go on honeymoon forever…

its a great blessing for us to have very good tour guide, very nice tour members… out of 30 tour members, we have 10 honeymooners (5 couples), 4 familes and 2 pairs of frens… initially we thot that the families are hard to get along… but as time goes, we realize their warmth… especially when bear got the “special effects” after visiting the top of Europe, Jungfrau Moutain… bear got giddy and his face turn pale…I was damn worried.. lucky for our friendly tour members, offering ointment, massage service for my bear… if not for them, I dunno how I can cope…

now I miss my tour members… we are like a big family… the tour guide took care of us very well, and even taught us where to take the local train service to town area during our free day….

during the trip, we made a lot of frens… we miss everything abt SIF now.. we took plane, coaches, boats, cable cars, trains during the trip… basically we cover all modes of transport… =)

when our tour guide told us that he has another assignment on the last day, and will not be coming back to sg together with us… we all feel a bit lost… he is like a big brother to us… making sure that we do our tax refund correctly, check-in at the correct counter and even try his best to get discount for us during our shopping etc..

thanks again to everyone, the captain (or the driver), tour guide, families, friends and honeymooners… they are part of our beautiful memories and made this honeymoon trip enjoyable… hope to see them again… =)

bintan trip

07 – 09 February, 2010

I shld get my 3.5″ harddisk repaired soon… my 2.5″ left with only slightly less than 1GB of space… not enough for me to hold all my photos… arrggh…

after our ROM, we went Bintan for a short getaway… and this is our 1st overseas trip of 2010, our 1st time to Bintan, as well as our 1st trip as husband and wife =P

 

we are like small kids and quite excited abt it… but those who have been to Bintan, will know that there is actually nth much fun other than the sea-sports…

@ Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal… quite nice scenary eh…  it was abt 50min by sea to Bintan… I really love the sea….

abt 2hrs of car ride from the ferry terminal to Bintan Argo Beach Resort… a very and cosy place to relax…

becos we booked the honeymoon package.. our resort is in a  secluded place.. towards the end of the beach… a standalone resort by its own with only 4 rooms….

we rested awhile and went for our free lunch that was included in the package…

this is our welcome drink… freak me out a little… taste like fake bird nest drink during primary sch times… seriously I dunno what’s that.. and I refused to finish it…bear find it nice and gulp both shot glasses down..

when we return back to our room… the tides are in.. thru the window, it was as if we were at the  middle of sea… its really gorgeous…

we couldnt resist but to take pics with it…. its seems like a backdrop wallpaper.. but no… the sea is just behind us!!!

during the 3 days.. we basically just relax at the resort… we are not a fan of the sea-sports.. spend most of the time together watching tv and playing our iphone… haha.. we went for the “shopping” tour though… but that was a disappointment… we shldnt have waste $20 on that stupid tour…

anyway… I am getting lazy to blog out everything already… I still have a lot of  post-dated things to blog about… in short.. bintan is a great place to have a short getaway, to simply relax… dun expect many things to shop also…

the complimentary candle-light dinner by the pool side is really romantic… and we were lucky that day… as there are alot of shiny stars above us… the food is quite nice but a little too much though..

 the spa is not bad although I had a few bruises from that =X… and if you took up their hand/foot spa.. dun  expect anything on the manicure and pedicure… simply cannot make it… I think I can do it better on my own… 😛

25th birthday celebration ~ part 3

for my bday, we went back to sentosa again.. this time is Rasa Sentosa Resort by Shangri-La.. initially we wanted to make use of my company’s corporate rate.. but the internet rate is slightly cheaper than the corporate rate.. strange wor… I asked the reservation operator why, she also dunno how to ans… LOL….

with a big bathtub… the toilet is open concept.. has a slider window that can be closed for more privacy.. how cool.. I told bear that I wan this concept in our master bedroom next time!!!

compared to the room in Siloso Beach Resort, the former was much much nicer… but the views in Rasa is really superb…

we took turns with the majestic view… tried to take together using his DSLR, but cannot.. cos too close liao!!! lol..

so use my compact camera is better… 😛 hmm.. bear really put on alot of weight sia.. suddenly become so “in-shape”… =X

we rested a while before we went for the remaining rides that we missed in Aug…

there is a waterfall (man-made I suppose) just outside the lobby… its a pity we cant take close shot with the waterfall..

 we took the blue line bus to our “playground”… completed Desperados and Extreme Log Ride…

Extreme Log Ride is so boring…  we tot it will be as fun as the 4D Cinema, Pirates… but no lor.. nth exciting at all.. we even add in sound effects ourselves.. lol… the 3D effects are not fantastic at all…

Desperados, on the other hand is more fun… although no 3D effects, at least we can participate in shooting… and lousy me.. my score only 25… bear got 40plus though… the top scorer get a chance to play another round for free..

this time round, we din get to explore more… partly becos of the rain.. and partly.. I just wanna relax….

taiwan photoshoot (6/6)

manager of BS, 王經理 brought us around to buy their famous local food…. refund the 1 night stay to us as well as for the transport fees for bullet train… brought us to the take bullet train also…

I happily bought tickets for the bullet train…. had our meals in the bullet train and slept thru… bear asked me whether we should alight at Taoyuan but I keep insisting that we shld alight at Taipei…

haiz. end up I am wrong lor… bear’s right… I dunno what happen to me also… always in a dreamy state… bear was quite furious and refused to talk to me… end up we took cab from Taipei to Taoyuan International Airport for NT900… haiz… really 冤枉錢 lor…

I dun feel gd at all.. I always say bear dun trust my decision…. this time…he trusted me and yet I was wrong… only when we reach the airport and check in.. bear then talked to me…  I was really upset then… lucky we still in time to check in..

had waffles at this cafe called Mr. Brown Cafe in the airport… hot waffles with ice-cream is really puurrfect..

our flight back to sg was delayed by 30 min.. by the time we reach home.. I was really shag… the thots of going back to work the next day tires me more…

taiwan photoshoot (5/6)

checking out from 寧靜海 this day… and yet the sun is out..  -.- the wind is still big though….

自戀 abit before I changed.. haha…

see how big the waves are… bear say its scary… but I think its beautiful…

before returning the keys.. took a pic for keepsake 😛

we booked a cab to go down Ping Tung for NT1500… abt 2 hrs car ride… it was still quite early when we reached the BS… actually they asked us to reach the BS by 6pm… but becos we checked out on 11am.. so we decided to go down early and shop… we left our luggage with Vicky, the pretty sales… and went for shopping in Ping Tung

had sushi for lunch at a Sushi House… no photography is allowed there.. so sad… the sushi are very cheap lor… NT30 per plate… even the sashimi are the same price… both of us ate 20 plates… total is abt SGD 30 nia… where can you find such cheap sushi in sg… the sushi are quite fresh also.. we helped ourselves with a few plates of salmon and maguro sashimi… lol…

we went to their departmental store to shop… its called Pacific.. but I dunno why the pple there call it Sogo… hmmm… this trip, I dun really have the mood to shop… but still bought 2 push up Triumph lingerie… wahaha… the design really nice and  $10 cheaper than in sg =X  we walked ard the streets in Ping Tung and got lost.. wahhaha…  dunno why both of us are in dreamy state… bought  few souvenirs for our family also…

we had our tea-break (cakes again) at the cafe opp the BS… it rained again.. but I kinda like this feeling… how I wish we can be so carefree everyday =X…

while we are waiting for the rain to stop… I asked bear to snap pics of the BS again… haha.. there is a couple having their photoshoot… I think its becos of the rain, they have no choice but to take in the BS… its strange that the gown and hairdo of others is always much nicer than your own…

abt 5plus.. the rain got smaller and we crossed over to the BS to select our photos… we went around taking pictures for keepsake… thumbs up for the team… without them, I think we wont enjoy our photoshoot so much….

阿壽, the witty photographer that made us laugh so much during the ps… he is quite photogenic also wor..

阿翔, the assistant.. he seems shy… but he is another witty guy… and more soft spoken than 阿壽…

小怡, my mua… a very 細心 mua… without her, I wont look so pretty.. hahaha… how I wish I can get her for my AD…

the sales team… extreme left is 阿珠, she came to sg with Tiffany to promote their BS… and she remembered bear clearly… extreme right is Vicky… pretty and nice lady who gives us a lot of suggestions when we are doing our selections…

阿壽 told us he took more than 700 of photos… gosh.. we sure had a hard time to select our photos…. 1st round of selection, we chose 179 photos… but its still alot… silly me.. I teared abit when we did the 2nd selection… all the photos are really very nice… its so heart pain to delete those away… haiz… due to budget contrain… we have no other choice…

we took more than 4hrs in the selection… by the time we are done, its 11pm liao.. finally we left with 81 pics… we only had 32… so we top up another 49…  I really 捨不得 those photos lor… we definitely cant find the scenaries in sg… I believe sg photography skills are diff also… its really a hard decision to make…

for this package, including the top-ups and ampoule costs, we spent abt $5k plus… to some, it may be expensive.. but I think its quite worth it la.. considering that air tickets, accomodation and 3 meals are provided during our ps… and of cos the very good service of the BS and the wonderful pics…

阿壽 brought us back to the 民宿.. we expect it to be 中國風… but the “honest” 民宿 owner gave us a normal room instead.. telling us that another room is fully booked… we told them that the BS already made advance booking few mths ago.. but the lady owner keep insisting that they have no rooms.. bear was very angry and start swearing.. haiz.. I told bear to 算了, since this is the last night liao… we made a small complaint call to the manager of the BS.. he is quite embarrassed abt it also.. and say will “refund” the 1 night to us as compensation….   since its the last night, we dun wan to argue too much.. and since we do not need to pay anything for the accomodation in Ping Tung, we just treat the refund as bonus ba…
