cny 2010 on v-day

I quite like this year cny… bear came to my hse and had reunion dinner with my family on cny eve… this is truly a family reunion dinner… bear helped mama to put on those cny decos as well…

on 1st day of cny, bear came early to my hse to wish my parents a good year and together we went ah ma hse… I really like that feeling….

of cos we took a few pics as usual… this yr cny we took much lesser pics though….

this yr, valentine’s day falls on 1st day of cny as well… after visiting relatives, we went out “celebrate”… due to budget, we din exchange v-day gifts.. no romantic candle-light dinner, no lavish flowers… just the 2 of us, having jap food… and bear bought me a bouquet from comics connection… well.. I chose the bouquet myself.. its only $19.90… cheap… but its very nice…

watched Valentine’s Day on valentine’s day….

“Valentine’s Day” follows the intertwining storylines of a group of Los Angelinos as they find their way through romance over the course of one Valentine’s Day.

2/5 nachos for this movie… I dun recommend watching this in theatre… no storyline at all… simply different views of valentine’s day and different perspective of love from each individual… this reminds of me another movie “Feast of Love”.. the better thing abt Valentine’s Day is that there are at least some humor in it… well.. I still dun enjoy this movie.. to be fair, its heartwarming to catch this movie on valentine’s day itself..

1 yr ago, we had our post-xmas gift exchange… we had the exchange 1 yr later exactly on the same date… its definitely coincidence I swear…

as usual, I always do last min shopping on the day before… I already had in mine what to buy except for jac’s bday present =P

bought facial masks for lmh.. and also some eye masks for myself…

 

products from TBS for cmh and jac…

exceeded the set budget for xmas presents though .. nvm.. once a year… opening up presents is a happy feeling… so it really doesnt matter whether the gifts are cheap or expensive…

belated birthday present for jac.. idea contributed by bear… I’m glad jac like it..

our dinner Marutama Ramen… located in The Central.. another outlet was newly opened in Liang Court…

lmh got raves for it… well.. this shall be my 1st and last time…

varieties wise… only 3 kinds of ramen… and all in chicken soup.. what’s so special abt chicken soup.. I find it rather salty lor… the noodles… machiam maggie mee to me… the best thing is the egg..

miserable cha-siew.. one each… which is freaking exp… $5 or $6 i think…

overall.. 1/10… 1 point goes to the egg… ramen and cha-siew so-so.. service is super lousy…

the service there is so stucked up… especially a short hair malay girl… super yaya-papaya…  asked us to leave and say there is a long queue outside.. wah kaoz… long queue is our problem is it… I nvr see such rude and so unwell-trained service… and why only target us when others are also in there longer time than us…  wah lau…

if you are interested in dining there.. think thrice.. I rather cook instant noodle at home than to dine at Marutama.. such bad service is really condemned… if my mama is there… she will say that the staffs there definitely did not attend the GEMS course…

such service really spoils our mood… PUI..

had our dessert at Azabu Sabo.. the same place during the breezers 1st meetup…

 lmh comment that she dun look good that day.. and cmh just took out a hair spray and insist to “style” for her… lol… damn funny la..

birthday dinner

had my advance birthday celebration with my family at Kyomomoyama, The Central.. I tot of trying sth new.. but when we reached, I realized that I’ve been there before.. for loo peng’s farewell some time ago…

mama say mcp dunno how to self take picture and ask me to show him.. haha… took 2 while waiting for the lift… damn it.. I put too much foundation liao… =X

we walked a long long way before we can find the jap restaurant.. and I realized its just beside Seoul Yummy nia… lol..

sis bought me this eeyore in tigger skin from watsons… so cuutteee..

eeyorex and eeyore.. see the angbao in my hand? thats from bear’s mum… heee…

bear surprised me with my another fav flower – blue roses… so nice… still fresh with water droplets… really love it…

while waiting for our food, we took many many pictures to keep ourselves entertain…

sis suddenly go bersek and hug mama… mcp joined in the fun as well.. lol…

Kyomomoyama’s service is quite slow… we waited for 20mins before our food are served to us… food wise ok… but abit salty to my taste bud…

the bill came up to abt $105.. price range still ok… and thanks to mama for her treat…

d&d 2009

annual D&D at Swissotel Merchant Court.. this yr theme is Hawaii Tropicano Night…  almost everyone had some flowers design on them… but this yr, its a boring one… I din really made en effort to dress up… simply not in the mood sia… only wear a white tank top with one fake flower on my head and a blue long dress…food wise sucks… I am not even full lor…

super blur me.. remember to charge my camera, remember to bring it out but I forget to bring my memory card =.=

end up only took a few pics nia.. cos built-in memory is so limited… anyway, no mood to take pics also… lesser and lesser fun pple around… more and more unknown pple that makes me feel irritated..

woohoo~~ bought our wedding bands from Soo Kee… but the ones we bought are the the initial designs we wanted.. lol..

 its so strange that we went so many branches, but we din see that design at all.. we saw it at Suntec branch instead… this is the only pair that we both like and agree… but we didnt buy from the sales person, Christopher… we find him very pushy… the way he “promote” is quite intimidating… before we can confirm, he already took out the sales book and wanted to write the model number down… we stopped him and told him that we will consider… I know he will be swearing and cursing behind us… well.. too bad for him… we cant stand bad service….

we rushed down to Bugis branch to look for Benny.. but he’s not around… lucky for us, another sales person, Mei Fong attended to us… she is very patient with us  and even give us suggestions when we cant decide what to engrave on the rings… and yeap.. she got the deal… 

 hmm.. now.. one thing settled.. we have lesser things to worry about… but our rings can only be collected on 25 Jan 2010… hopefully wont delay…

met up with Lawrence from Phototerrain on Wed to see his works… we took 2 days to  confirm our PG and VG with Phototerrain this day…

as much as we quite like the style of  Unique Colours …but becos we decided to separate our ROM, means we need the extra money… so we decided to lower our budget for PG & VG services.. we engaged Lawrence for our ROM as well…  another thing settled… but we find it strange that no deposit required… only paid up after the event… hmmm…  we are actually quite afraid that he wont turn up on that day…*fingers crossed* 

took half day and went down to GWP with bear to confirm our solemnisation venue with Kimberly… one more thing done… made reservations with the restaurant as well.. too bad they cant give us private room for hi-tea buffet.. no choice lor..

thanks to the technology, we can meet our future neighbours even before our homes are built…. thanks to jerlyn for organising one…

before the meeting, I’m quite worried that we can’t click with them… I even prepared to cook up excuses to leave early after dinner  if bear and me find it boring.. haha… silly me…

I’m really glad that my neighbours are all so friendly…. all of us meet each other for the 1st time, but we chat and laugh alot…  machiam hanging out with frens.. the feeling is really good… I believe all of us had lots of fun… we even had desserts for 2nd round after dinner… we laugh so much that I can feel the “sore-ness” on my cheeks.. hahaha..

 its a shame that I dun have my camera with me…. lend it to mama for her KL trip… boo~~~
