Walt Disney Pictures presents RAPUNZEL: A TANGLED TALE, one of the most hilarious, hair-raising tales ever told. When the kingdom’s most wanted-and most charming-bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) hides out in a mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs. In theaters this holiday season in Disney Digital 3D, RAPUNZEL is a story of adventure, heart, humor and hair-lots of hair.

do you still remember the story of rapunzel? seriously I dun really remember.. I only remember the long long hair that Rapunzel let down and let the prince climb up…

4/5 nachos and thumbs up for the 3D effects… caught this movie in the newly renovated Yishun GV.. romantic, magical and hilarious fairytale.. definitely suitable  for all ages… we had a great time watching this movie from Disney…

do you realize that in most fairy tales, the apples and the wicked witch are sure part of the plot…. no matter is Snow White, Cinderella or Rapunzel, you definitely can see them… the wicked witch will always be the one who did all the bad things and wanted some good things out of their bad deeds… the princess, will always be the victim… even so, its still so sweet to see a happy ending in all fairy tales… but then again…. is there really happily ever after in real life? well, I hope so… 😛

heart-to-heart

when was the last time I dreamt abt J? I always wonder why he keep appearing in my dreams… not a bad thing afterall though… cos in my dreams, we always can chat like we are really good frens… we talked abt each other life, we share ideas on wedding and renovations etc.. we basically talk everything under the sun..

but in real life, we are just online strangers… ok.. not really strangers.. more like accquaintances.. I hope one day we can really talk like how we do in my dreams… I believe this is the biggest stone deep in my heart that I wish to remove one day…

although should let the past be past… but sometimes, a good heart-to-heart talk can clear all the doubts and misunderstandings between each other.. not destined to be together as couple, but stay as frens is better than losing one…

shopping update

this blog of mine gonna be a movie blog soon =X.. been too lazy to update ever since our wedding is over… and thanks to facebook, I can conveniently upload photos of what we ate, or interesting things instantly.. thats y i sort of neglect this blog 😛

is it just me? I feel that married life are more boring than before =X we basically have no plans on where to go and what to do at all.. our only pastime is just to walk aimlessly around the shopping centres…

went Sitex @ Expo and to Tampines after that… with the approval of bear, I bought one perfume from Sasa and 2 Hada Labo travel packs… so happy..

I started using HL products 2 weeks ago.. and so far, I am quite happy with it… saw from forums that this product is as good as SKII… best thing is… its much much cheaper than SKII… this travel pack is only for limited time and as expected, they are sold out in most watsons… I’m glad that I found them in Tampines 1 Watson.. being auntish now.. I grabbed 2 packs giving the excuse that we need to use more moisturizing products when in Europe 2 weeks later.. lol…

wanted to buy Lanvin Marry Me perfume… but the SA in Sasa recommend me their house brand product… and yup.. its much cheaper too… and the smell is sweeter.. even bear like the smell too =)

mu hubby is always willing to buy me my favourite things.. especially EEYORE!!! saw this super duper cute EEYORE cushion from MCKY @ Tampines 1…  its love at 1st sight for me.. (in fact I am in love with all eeyores  at 1st sight :P)

isnt it adorable… another huggy for me at night…

harry potter & the deathly hallows ~ part 1

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final adventure in the Harry Potter film series, is a much-anticipated motion picture event to be told in two full-length parts.

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality and destruction–the Horcruxes. 4/5 nachos… we are not a big fan of HP.. somehow we are just attracted to it… this is of cos, not the best of all HP movies… I find it quite draggy though… the tremendous improvement of all 3 main characters can be clearly seen throughout all the series of the movies.. from young little ones to mature adults… and this maturity makes them more charming… the plot itself is not really that fantastic… fight scenes also so-so… only like the magic skills… if not for the effects and the actin skills, personally I will rate this movie only a 3/5 nachos..

 

adele – rise of the mummy

The year is 1912. Adele Blanc-Sec, an intrepid young reporter, will go to any lengths to achieve her aims, including sailing to Egypt to tackle mummies of all shapes and sizes.

Meanwhile, in Paris, it’s panic stations! A 136 million-year old pterodactyl egg on a shelf in the natural history museum has mysteriously hatched, and the bird subjects the city to a reign of terror from the skies.

But nothing fazes Adele Blanc Sec, whose adventures reveal many more extraordinary surprises.

this French movie is only available in Cathay cinemas.. glad that AMK Cathay has the English version…  this is more of a fantasy story…and personally I find it a little boring… some scenes are so draggy that I almost fall aslp… I expect it to be as thrilling as the trailer.. nope.. but its not… I am a little disappointed though… neverthless, thumbs up for the special effects… overall: 3.5/5 nachos..
