cny 2010 on v-day

I quite like this year cny… bear came to my hse and had reunion dinner with my family on cny eve… this is truly a family reunion dinner… bear helped mama to put on those cny decos as well…

on 1st day of cny, bear came early to my hse to wish my parents a good year and together we went ah ma hse… I really like that feeling….

of cos we took a few pics as usual… this yr cny we took much lesser pics though….

this yr, valentine’s day falls on 1st day of cny as well… after visiting relatives, we went out “celebrate”… due to budget, we din exchange v-day gifts.. no romantic candle-light dinner, no lavish flowers… just the 2 of us, having jap food… and bear bought me a bouquet from comics connection… well.. I chose the bouquet myself.. its only $19.90… cheap… but its very nice…

watched Valentine’s Day on valentine’s day….

“Valentine’s Day” follows the intertwining storylines of a group of Los Angelinos as they find their way through romance over the course of one Valentine’s Day.

2/5 nachos for this movie… I dun recommend watching this in theatre… no storyline at all… simply different views of valentine’s day and different perspective of love from each individual… this reminds of me another movie “Feast of Love”.. the better thing abt Valentine’s Day is that there are at least some humor in it… well.. I still dun enjoy this movie.. to be fair, its heartwarming to catch this movie on valentine’s day itself.. 

birthday dinner

had my advance birthday celebration with my family at Kyomomoyama, The Central.. I tot of trying sth new.. but when we reached, I realized that I’ve been there before.. for loo peng’s farewell some time ago…

mama say mcp dunno how to self take picture and ask me to show him.. haha… took 2 while waiting for the lift… damn it.. I put too much foundation liao… =X

we walked a long long way before we can find the jap restaurant.. and I realized its just beside Seoul Yummy nia… lol..

sis bought me this eeyore in tigger skin from watsons… so cuutteee..

eeyorex and eeyore.. see the angbao in my hand? thats from bear’s mum… heee…

bear surprised me with my another fav flower – blue roses… so nice… still fresh with water droplets… really love it…

while waiting for our food, we took many many pictures to keep ourselves entertain…

sis suddenly go bersek and hug mama… mcp joined in the fun as well.. lol…

Kyomomoyama’s service is quite slow… we waited for 20mins before our food are served to us… food wise ok… but abit salty to my taste bud…

the bill came up to abt $105.. price range still ok… and thanks to mama for her treat…

 sis, mcp and mum went to ktv @ liang court after that.. while me and bear went to bishan for a late night movie…

oh ya.. almost forgotten abt it.. thanks lin for her advance birthday present… makeup set from Kose…

shan’s wedding

it’s a good time for everyone to gather during joyous occasions like a wedding… full of laughters and a few touching moments with tears…

being jiemei for umpteen times… I’m sort of immuned already… and I expected the after-effect of tiredness… cos as jiemei, it is our duty to keep the bride stress-free… I think maybe I helped in and out too much or  age is catching up with me… this time, I feel more tiredness… headache, bodyache and super restless…

but at the end of it, the feeling is quite good when the wedding goes on quite smoothly… coordination work is very impt… its really good to have helpers around… I hope by then, I have cooperative helpers for my wedding as well… 

counting down to my new status… having less than 10mths to go… I have a mixture of feelings… all sorts of emotions around through my mind…

due to less than 5% of hard-disk space left, I cant really combine the photos and blog here… all I can do is to upload to fb instead… only morning events for now… shall upload more when received from bear..

kitty lab

meet up with lin to accompany her to kitty lab… I’m not a fan of hello kitty.. maybe becos I dun really like cats… 😛

lin was so excited abt this meeting to the kitty lab… in fact, others who went to the kitty lab are obvious fans of sanrio characters, especially the mean lead, hello kitty…

went to orchard road for jalan jalan after visiting granny… as usual orchard is full of pple… and this year xmas deco are quite nice… sis say its becos obama is coming to sg in dec.. that’s y the nice deco… true? hmm… I’m quite skeptical abt it…

abit kiasu… I’m starting to source clothes for mama and papa already..  but its so difficult to find the “perfect” one.. especially for mama… her requirement of clothes is still old-fashioned kind… bought a short halter neck dress for ls wedding and she already nagged for many days.. =.=

think worse come to worse, will tailor-made one for her….
