annual D&D at Swissotel Merchant Court.. this yr theme is Hawaii Tropicano Night…  almost everyone had some flowers design on them… but this yr, its a boring one… I din really made en effort to dress up… simply not in the mood sia… only wear a white tank top with one fake flower on my head and a blue long dress…food wise sucks… I am not even full lor…

end up only took a few pics nia.. cos built-in memory is so limited… anyway, no mood to take pics also… lesser and lesser fun pple around… more and more unknown pple that makes me feel irritated..

peranakan night

sales manager of concorde hotel, kurt, invited ellen and me to their customer’s appreciation night… theme was “A Date with Babas & Nyonyas”… of cos we did not wear to the theme.. lol…

while waiting for the dinner to start, we entertained ourselves…

I din enjoy the food… becos most peranakan food are spicy… I only enjoy the satay and desserts nia…  well, at least we do learn sth about the peranakan culture… quite interesting though… and I pity those nyonya brides in the past… they have to wear 6-7 clothings inside of the traditional wedding gown.. and that gown is heavy de lor… I think a few kilos…  perankans weddings lasted for 12 days.. gosh.. cnfm very tiring de…

although did not win anything, we still din go home empty-handed… got some discount vouchers and a fragrance pouch.. but hor.. the pouch, to me is smelly de… really cant stand the smell… threw away right after I reach home…

this day, my baobei finally get married… I believed she waited this day for very long already… 11 years of courtship.. its definitely not an easy path during these years… kudos to adeline and daryl… and big big congrats to them… from her smile, can see that my baobei that day is really really happy… =D

some of us went early to witness her solemnization… after the solemnization, while waiting to go in “officially”… we took pictures…

 and we entertained ourselves with more pics while waiting for the banquet to start.. hahaha

preparing to throw rose petals… we even requested the banquet manager to give us the whole bag of petals.. lol..

here comes the groom and bride…

followed by 2nd march in… I heart the colur of baobei’s evening gown…

we prepared this “cocktail” for baobei and her hubby… hmmm… let’s call it Hearts Aflame… with a mixture of beer, martell, red wine, sprite, soy sauce, lemon and 2 fresh eggs… definitely very 補 lor… haha…

but the bad news is… we waited and waited… baobei and her hubby too busy taking table photos… and this cocktail end up in our gm’s stomach… becos our gm dun wan anything to happen to the newly-wed…  lucky for the couple man… wonder whether gm got any prob when he reached home.. =X

 

30th birthday

happy birthday to my baobei… finally 30 le =X…

we had an advance birthday celebration for her in the office, with the usual lunch kakis on tuesday…

this time, no surprise for her.. and yet she is still nervous and paiseh.. just like last yr.. lol.. she really got “stage fright” lor… we wonder how she will react when she need to march in with her hubby next thur…

30 yrs old.. I wonder where I will be in 5 yrs time.. will I be matured in looks and thinking? can I still look like 25 when I am 30? hmm… how I wish I can be like baobei… still looking young…

hen’s night

supposedly to be a “wild” hen’s night for ade.. but too last min.. and we 2 jo-s (jocelyn & joanna) din manage to think of any place… for me.. I dun have any idea at all… I simply follow… 😛

our dinner at Sakae…  4 of us din really have a lot… total only 15 plates of sushi and one teriyaki squid… but its quite full for me already…

followed them to this place at Tanjong Pagar.. errr.. I dunno where’s the place.. only know its a red red building near maxwell food centre 😛

no wild “entertainment” of male strippers for ade… hahaha.. she was so afraid that we will do something funny… lucky for her la… cos we no time to plan.. lol… only a simple, drink-chit-chat-gossip session between the 4 of us.. a simple night’s out like that can help to unwind also… but hor.. if too frequent, I think I will declare bankrupt sooner.. wahahaha.. =X 

our 4-sided yet not complicated relationship… I look so round.. damn it.. lol
