as part of bear’s birthday celebration… we decided to spend our weekends in 2 prestige hotels in sg land… 😛
before that, we had our lunch at bugis.. bear like the fish soup there… dun ask me the name, I dunno.. cos I dun remember the name… although I dun find the fish soup nth fantastic… as long bear like can liao….
stir fried 奶白 with dried shrimps…
fish slice soup….
after that, we check in at fullerton hotel….
this is our room number =)
I immediately love the bathroom on the left when I walked in.. the idea was so fantastic… the bathroom was hidden behind a mirror door… so cool… I wanted the same concept for our new home as well… if space permits in, I wish we can hide our toilet behind the door as well…. 😛
its zi lian time…
only managed to take a pic of this small building with the name on it…
we went pak tor after we settled down… after which, we return back to the hotel for our sumptous chinese dinner at Jade Restaurant…
the menu and the exquiste table deco….
tasting the nice tea demurely… lol…
the whole restaurant has only 2 of us… it was as if I haved booked the whole restuarant for this event :P…
we decided on this set menu..
compliments from Jade, the tomato appetizer..
roasted peking duck wrapped in pancake.. this is very nice… the skin is very crispy.. love it…
steamed silken chawanmushi with diced duck meat and wild mushrooms… very unique combi… a fresh taste.. and surprisingly.. its very good.. the aroma of duck and mushrooms are simply irrestible..
superior duck bone consomme with duck meat dumplings… I find it rather ok only..
black sesame lemon sorbet.. this sort of freaked me out… I dun like..
saluted carved peking duck with pan seared foie gras… I love foie gras the most… this main course is the best I ever I ate…
enjoying the foie gras… yummy..
pineapple fried rice in nonya style wrapped in crispy money bag… quite spicy for me… but I still managed to finish it… cos the whole course is not cheap.. lol..
shaved coconut ice with strawberry and mango cream… errr.. I am not a fan of coconut and strawberry though…
and us ^^
we have very gd experience in fullerton… its too bad we have to check out the next day… I believe we will be back again….
